Josie is a 8 and a half year old, spayed female, orange tabby, domestic shorthair cat. She is an outgoing, social cat with people and appreciates a quiet, calm home without other pets or children. She is very, very sweet and enjoys being brushed and petted. Josie is curious and likes to explore her surroundings. One of her favorite activities is to look out the window and watch the world! She likes to jump after the feather wand toys and will bounce off the walls trying to catch them! She likes to be petted when she is sitting on her cat tree! Hands on attention is something she just loves! She would do best as an only pet in the home as she does not like the company of other cats or dogs. She is scared of children and needs a home with adults only. Josie originally came to our organization after she was surrendered at a local shelter. She was very scared and was not doing well in in that environment, so she was transferred to our organization and placed into a foster home. She was adopted but due to a move into a busier environment with children and other pets, Josie stressed and was returned to us. Josie was diagnosed with stress-induced cystitis. Josie needs a calm, quiet environment as an only pet with an understanding parent who will give her the love and attention she needs to be happiest! A foster trial to ensure a good match for adoption is an option for anyone seriously interested in Josie. Her adoption fee is $200.
