About Thea

Thea is a seven-year-old spayed female with a classic calico coat and plenty of personality. She grew up in a home but was returned to rescue due to stress and some reactive behaviors, particularly biting. Since settling into foster care, Thea has shown herself to be affectionate, clever, and deeply people-focused—once she warms up, she becomes social and seeks out attention, asking to be picked up with her paws or wrapping her arms around your shoulder for a walk around the house. She does have a sensitive side. If she feels snubbed (like being put down before she's ready), Thea may swat or complain—she’s got strong opinions and lets you know. Her ideal home is with someone experienced and attuned to cat moods, who can appreciate her quirks and give her enrichment, indoor play space, and room to climb. She must be the only cat but has tolerated a small dog visiting before. She is not suitable for a home with children. Thea is house trained and is up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $200. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
