About Groot
Groot is a 3-year-old, 55-pound doberman/pointer mix, sporting a brown, short coat and plenty of youthful drive. Found wandering as a stray, he landed at local animal control before making his way to rescue. Groot thrives on exercise and would love a running or hiking companion to help him channel his high energy. He’s quite social, loves meeting people, and sometimes barks just to hear himself. He's trained at the basics, house trained, and eats up new routines fast. Groot’s personality leans sweet and eager, and with ongoing attention and training, he will be a loyal, fun presence in an active household. Groot has been neutered and is current on rabies and DA2PP vaccines. He does well with other dogs, but shouldn’t share a space with cats. Leos are known for their charisma—and Groot lives up to his summer birthday. He’s hoping to meet you soon. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
