About Kane

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Kaneโ€™s journey has not been easy; he survived being abandoned in a stacked crate, left without care or kindness. After being rescued and pulled to safety, Kane has spent nearly a year thriving in a loving foster home in Binghamton, NY. Now almost 3 years old, he continues to work through the trauma and quirks from his earlier neglect, sometimes having accidents but always making progress. Kane needs an experienced and patient foster or adopter who understands that healing is a gentle, ongoing process. Despite his past, Kane radiates joyโ€”heโ€™s playful, obsessed with toys, highly treat-motivated, and knows how to "sit." His goofy and sweet nature brings happiness to everyone he meets. He does well with other dogs, cats, and older children (ages 15+), and he continues to improve with housebreaking. For the right family, he will be a loyal and loving companion ready to blossom with support. For astrology lovers, Kane was born under the sign of Libraโ€”a zodiac known for harmony and charm! Could you be the one to help Kane write his next, best chapter?
