About Sunflower
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Sunflower! At just over 3 years old, Sunflower’s journey almost came to a heartbreaking end when she was labeled “too shut down” in the shelter and put on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, Sunflower is now safe in her Pennsylvania foster home and beginning to truly blossom. This gentle girl is already showing a sweet, loving personality and charms everyone she meets. Sunflower is devoted to people and gets along wonderfully with her foster dog sibling. She thrives in a cat-free environment and will do best in a home without cats. Sunflower delights in taking slow sniffs during walks, wagging her tail, playing outside, and chasing after her favorite balls. She responds beautifully to patience and kindness, demonstrating just how resilient rescue dogs can be. Sunflower is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, de-wormed, and has had a vet exam. Vet references and a home visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England (excluding Canada). Did you know she’s a Cancer? Cancers are known for being sensitive, nurturing, and deeply loyal—traits Sunflower wears proudly. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
