ADOPTION FEE WAIVED -Mateo is an adorable young male with lots of love to give! He is affectionate, friendly, independent, loyal, playful, protective and smart. Mateo was abandoned during the summer of 2023 when he was around 10-12 weeks old. Since being rescued, Mateo has been trained by professionals at Home Front Canine; he walks well on a leash and knows all of his basic commands. Although Mateo is a sweet boy, he has some behavioral characteristics that potential adopters should be aware of. He is not good with cats and may be ok with a dog of the same size who is more submissive. We are recommending that Mateo be the only pet in the home. He is a loyal companion and is very eager to find a forever home where he can receive all the love and attention he deserves after being abandoned.
