About Mateo
Mateo is an affectionate and loyal young male looking for a fresh start after being abandoned last summer as a puppy. This medium-sized, black Pit Bull Terrier mix has a short coat that's easy to maintain. Since his rescue, Mateo has worked with professional trainers at Home Front Canine—he’s now leash savvy and knows all his basic commands. Playfulness and intelligence shine through in everything he does, yet he also holds an independent streak. Mateo is not good with cats and should be the only pet in the home. He may get along with a similarly sized, submissive dog, but we’re recommending he be your sole four-legged companion. Mateo is eager for a steadfast, loving person who will make up for his rough start and shower him with the attention he deserves. Mateo is in Binghamton, NY. Ready to meet your new best friend?
