They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Penne! This spunky sweetheart is a true survivor from NYC ACC who’s been thriving in her upstate NY foster home — and she’s ready to find her forever family! At about 3 years old, spayed, fully vetted, and microchipped, Penne has come a long way from her rough start. She can be a little cautious meeting new people (sometimes a tiny grumble until she knows you’re safe), but once she trusts you, she becomes your biggest fan — following you everywhere and showering you with love. Why You’ll Love Penne: Dog-friendly. Gentle with cats. Great with respectful kids (8+). Crate-trained and loves her cozy den. Snack enthusiast. Expert in “sit,” “shake,” “gentle,” “calm,” and “yes.” Toy lover — BeneBones & Kongs are her absolute favorites. Equal parts snuggle bug and silly zoomie queen. Penne is smart, affectionate, and always ready to make you smile. She just needs a patient, loving home where she can continue to build confidence and shine like the amazing dog she is. All animals from this rescue are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested, and treated if necessary. Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport is available within Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England (no adoptions to Canada). Did you know Penne is a Virgo? Virgos are said to be loyal, kind, and have a playful streak—just like her! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
