About Polly
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Polly is one of a group of sweet hound girls who began their journeys as devoted mommas in Louisiana, braving life in the swampy fields without an owner or a home. These girls were rescued along with their puppies and brought to New Jersey to start the next chapter of their lives. Polly and her friends are currently receiving treatment for heartworm, but they are already spayed and fully up to date on their vaccinations. They are shy at first but incredibly gentle and sweet-natured, making wonderful companions for both people and other dogs in the home. Polly is making wonderful progress with housebreaking and hasn't had any accidents, as long as you give her the chance to go outside. She especially enjoys basking in the sun and relaxing on a warm day. Polly's love for food and treats makes her easy to motivate—just shake a treat bag, and she and her pack will come running! These hound girls are small for their breed, each weighing around 35 pounds. Any family would be lucky to adopt one (or even two), as they are very bonded with each other and will quickly share that love with you. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
