About Molly

Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Molly is one of several gentle hound girls who once lived together in rural Louisiana, surviving on their own in a swampy field until they were rescued with their babies and brought to New Jersey for a new start. These loving girls are now heartworm positive and are undergoing treatment, but remain hopeful and sweet through it all. All the girls, including Molly, are already spayed and current on their shots, and though initially shy, they quickly reveal their affectionate side. Molly is gentle with everyone she meets and enjoys the company of other dogs, even thriving in the company of her fellow hound friends. She responds eagerly to treats, and will come running at the sound of the treat bag! Reportedly, Molly and her friends have had great success with housebreaking as long as they are given a chance to go outside. At around 35 pounds, Molly is a small hound girl who loves sunbathing and sharing quiet moments with those who care for her. Any family would be lucky to welcome one—or even a pair—of these loving girls. Molly’s loving nature and resilience have won her rescuers' hearts, and she’s now waiting for a forever family to do the same. This could be the start of something paw-some.
