About Quest
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Quest is a handsome and powerful mix of boxer and Doberman who recently arrived at the shelter after spending his whole life in a loving home. At 4 years old, Quest’s family was forced to surrender him due to rental restrictions, despite their deep love for him. He has been fully vetted and microchipped, ready to find his next forever home. Quest previously lived peacefully with a canine sibling, as they grew up together, but currently he would thrive as the only dog in his new environment. He is not suited for a home with small animals and is looking for a household with adults or teens—adopters must be at least 21 years old. For those with resident dogs, it’s important that your pets are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered. Adoptions are by private appointment once an application is completed and approved. Quest is ready for the next chapter of his life and is hoping to find a dedicated adopter who can give him the stability and care he deserves. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Quest
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Boxer/Doberman mix dogs are best suited for homes with ample space, preferably with a fenced yard. They do well in active households where their energy and need for companionship can be fulfilled.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
This breed mix needs plenty of outdoor space. A securely fenced yard is ideal, as these dogs are energetic and benefit from regular exercise and room to roam.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Both boxers and Dobermans are known to be good with older children, especially when properly socialized. They can be too strong or energetic for very young kids, so households with teens or older children are a better match.
