About Lenny
Lenny landed at a shelter after his owner’s health took a turn and things got rough. The shelter was noisy and overwhelming, but Lenny quickly found his way to a rescue and regular vet care. He’s about 2.5 years old, recently neutered and microchipped, and he handled his dental visit without any trouble. In foster care, Lenny is a quiet presence—he was under-socialized earlier in life and takes a while to build up his confidence. He’s made impressive progress: walks are now something he enjoys, and obstacles that once worried him don’t bother him much anymore. He learns quickly, mastering “Sit” and “Wait,” and is working on “Down.” Lenny is housetrained, affectionate, and sees his kennel as a safe spot. He does best with gentle, patient introductions and reads people and other dogs well. He gets along with other dogs and cats, though he’s shy about diving into play. Lenny warms up fastest to women (both people and pups) and is a loyal cuddler once he trusts you. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
