About Sissy
Sissy started her journey in a southern Illinois shelter and quickly won everyone over with her friendly personality. She arrived at her Wisconsin foster home and immediately proved to be a fantastic companion, fitting in with people and other pets alike. Sissy is now looking for a permanent family after her foster mom’s health required some changes. She’s about 55-60 lbs and full of playful energy—chasing, running, and tug of war are favorites. She adores bigger kids who can handle her enthusiasm; she sometimes turns play into a contact sport without meaning to. Sissy gets along well with dogs, cats, and children, but her prey drive means she’s always alert to small critters outside. She’s house trained, very affectionate, and happiest curled up on the couch after a good romp in the yard. Her loyalty and loving nature shine through, but her strength makes her best suited for a home with adults or kids sturdy enough for her playful style. Sissy is spayed and up to date on vaccines—she’s ready for a new best friend to keep her active and shower her with love. Make her next chapter the happy one she deserves.
