About Lex

Lex showed up at the city pound, and when his time there ran out, he landed with rescue as a real mixed-breed mystery—maybe shepherd, maybe boxer, Catahoula, border collie, or something else entirely. He’s a young adult, probably around 1-2 years old, and brings a splash of puppy energy to every moment. Lex is shy initially, but his sweet side comes out fast; in no time, he turns into a cuddler who just wants to be close. He’s eager to learn but would benefit from some basic training and guidance. Walks, playtime, and anything with action keep him balanced and content. Right now, Lex will do best as a solo dog, at least until he’s had a bit more training. He’s not a good fit for homes with cats or small animals, but Lex does get along with kids. Lex is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped, ready for his new life in Austin, MN.
