About Ducky
Your new best friend is just one click away. Meet Ducky, the tiny survivor with a big heart! Ducky began life with hardship, found alone and left behind after her canine companions sadly didn't make it. This resilient little pup hasn't let those early days diminish her spirit—in fact, she now greets new people with enthusiasm and warmth. Ducky's greatest joy is nesting. Give her a soft bed and a pile of blankets, and she'll transform them into a cozy fort. After experiencing food insecurity, she learned to scavenge (including a sock and some plastic!), but now, with daily meals, she is discovering the comfort of reliable food and is becoming accustomed to wearing a muzzle to keep her safe. She enjoys the company of cats and male dogs, yet isn't shy to set boundaries if playtime becomes rambunctious. Ducky is confident and enjoys setting her own pace. Her most adorable trait—she doesn't just walk, she prances! Watching her sassy little steps is sure to make you smile. Ducky is still perfecting her potty habits. While she may occasionally go in her kennel, she understands to do her business outside when the opportunity arises. She isn't allowed to have blankets or beds in her kennel, though, as her scavenging habit sometimes resurfaces. If you're searching for a sweet, strong-willed, and utterly endearing companion, Ducky is eager to waddle her way into your home and heart. Fun fact: With a birthday of March 12, Ducky is a sensitive and adaptable Pisces, known for deep empathy and a loving spirit. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
