About Jasmine
Jasmine comes with a big heart and a gentle, affectionate spirit. At just over five years old, she is a sweet girl who wants nothing more than to be close to her people—she greets everyone with a full wiggle and tries to sneak kisses whenever possible. Jasmine thrives on snuggles and, if she could fit, would happily be a lapdog. She is well-mannered around the house, using dog doors with ease and exploring the yard with curiosity—but never showing any urge to escape. Barking is occasional, usually reserved for moments of real excitement. She absolutely loves spending time with children, although sometimes forgets her size in her enthusiasm. Jasmine does well with other dogs and would appreciate a canine friend to keep her company. She isn’t a fan of cats, so a feline-free home is best. Jasmine is playful without being destructive, especially fond of stuffies, which remarkably survive her play sessions. Walks are a highlight for her, and she’s very good on leash—even if she still gets excited to meet fellow dogs around the block. Jasmine already knows several commands—sit, stay, and lay down—and is completely house trained. She’s comfortable in her kennel but doesn’t enjoy being left alone for long. Sudden shifts in routine can bring out some separation anxiety, but with patience and reassurance, she manages well.
