Jeffrey has made good progress on housetraining, but he still needs some patience and gentle structure to cement good habits; he’s better in a plastic crate and even understands helpful cues like “potty.” He thrives on engagement, loves soft toys, and eagerly joins you on the sofa. He gets along with other dogs, especially smaller and gentle ones, though very assertive or hyper pups can intimidate him and bring out his nippy side—never mean, just setting boundaries. Cats are fine company for him, too. While he adores attention and will cover you with licks, families with sensitive young kids might not be the best fit. Jeffrey can be vocal when strangers arrive and may need a little patience while he’s settling in and learning to trust new faces, especially men.
