About Max

Max’s first adoption didn’t work out; his return was rough, and he’s feeling the effects of it, but beneath that stress, there’s a social, eager pup who wants his own home. He was found abandoned with his litter at just 10 days old and raised closely alongside his siblings, most of whom have already been adopted. His lineage is a real mix: a chocolate small/medium mom (maybe part Aussie, heeler, or Doberman) and possibly a much larger dad—pit, bully, hound, or rottweiler traits seem likely. Those genes have given Max a striking look: short, tricolor coat and a medium build that’s larger than his mom’s. Max enjoys other dogs and people. He hasn’t met cats or small kids, but his playful, high-energy nature means he’d probably do best with energetic folks or families who understand bouncy puppies need good introductions. House training was coming along until his recent upheaval, so expect him to need a little guidance and routine. Max is neutered, vaccinated, and up to date on dewormer and heartworm prevention. He just needs stability, attention, and someone who won’t let him down again. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
