Meet Knoxx—the dog who quietly enters your life and quickly makes it clear he’s here to stay. This young male, around two years old, is affectionate, playful, and incredibly people-oriented. Once he feels comfortable, he forges quick connections and seeks a loving human companion to explore life with. Knoxx expresses his affection in delightful ways, from gentle nose nudges to endearing moments he shares during what we call his "face hugs." He quietly communicates through his soulful, deep gray eyes, revealing his curiosity, excitement, and need for attention. You’ll find that the more time you spend with him, the easier it becomes to understand his unique way of expressing himself. Walks are a favorite pastime for Knoxx. He doesn’t just see them as exercise; instead, they’re an adventure filled with sounds and scents to explore. He’s happiest when he’s able to take his time, soaking in the world around him. Whether he’s enjoying the outdoors, seeking affection, or just staying close to you, Knoxx brings warmth and joy to every moment. Currently in the caring environment of a Wild Heart foster family, Knoxx is beginning to learn about routines and how to thrive in a home. Even though we don’t yet know if he gets along with cats, he has shown no signs of a strong prey drive, which is hopeful. Nonetheless, any home with cats would need careful introductions and supervision. Moreover, Knoxx has recently embarked on his veterinary journey, where he is receiving essential care he was previously missing. The ideal adopter will appreciate his inquisitive spirit and understand that building a meaningful bond takes time.
