About Tucker

Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Tucker! Tucker is a 9-year-old Dachshund mix (possibly with a hint of Beagle) who embodies the classic chill, loyal companion. Weighing around 20 lbs, Tucker is crate, potty, and leash trained, and he gets along well with dogs, cats, and children. This cuddly guy only wants to be close to his person, whether that's napping beside you, running errands, or soaking up all the affection you have to give. While he's confident with larger dogs, he's also not afraid to let them know when they're a little too close for comfort—with the charm of a grumpy old man! Tucker’s calm and gentle demeanor makes him the ideal canine to take anywhere—he doesn’t bark or make a fuss. He does have a small, non-cancerous fatty lump on his belly, which may be removed during his upcoming dental. Whoever welcomes Tucker into their home is truly gaining a gem. He is neutered, dewormed, microchipped, current on vaccines suitable for his age, and on flea and heartworm prevention. Tucker is currently being fostered through Lucky Pup Rescue in South Carolina.
