Meet River, a charming pup who came to us in May 2026 at just 4.5 months old, alongside his litter of eight. This little guy has a sweet demeanor and is truly a ball of energy. River is a beautiful mix of brindle and white, resembling his mom closely. He’s been thriving in a loving environment after being rescued from a rough situation in Woodbury, TN, where he and his siblings were left to roam and breed without proper care. River and his littermate are lucky to have made it out safely amidst troubling circumstances. River is very playful and enjoys spending time with both people and other dogs. He has developed a bond with his foster mom but shows signs of being happiest when he has canine company. As he adjusts to life in a loving home, he’s practicing crate training and getting outside frequently for potty breaks. River is eager for a forever home where he can continue to flourish, preferably with another dog. With an adoption fee of $400, River will be fully vetted, including four Parvo/Distemper shots, two Lepto shots, rabies, Bordetella, neutering, microchipping, heartworm testing, and preventive care.
