About Chuck

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Chuck and his friends, including Martin, Rupert, and Kobi, found themselves in need of a new home after their previous owner moved away. When they first arrived, their timid natures were clear, but with patience and care from their foster parents, they are starting to gain confidence and enjoy more affection. Chuck and the group seem to gravitate toward men, although they do warm up to women over time. Due to their shy demeanor, a home with children over the age of 10 is recommended at this stage, providing a calmer environment to help them continue blossoming. These little companions are friendly with both dogs and cats, making them a wonderful fit for a multi-pet household. Chuck is still perfecting his indoor manners and isn't fully housetrained yet, but he’s making great progress. Whether it's an apartment or a larger home, he would adapt well and continue his journey to being someone's cherished companion. He comes neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date on preventive care, ready and waiting to find a loving, patient adopter who will help him shine. Make their next chapter their best one yet.

Questions about Chuck

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

Chihuahuas are highly adaptable and can thrive in a variety of living environments, from apartments to larger homes. They enjoy spending time with their people, so a home where they are not left alone for long periods is ideal.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

Chihuahuas do not require a large yard and can get sufficient exercise through indoor play and short walks. Access to a small, safely enclosed outdoor space is beneficial but not essential.

  • Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?

Chihuahuas can do well in homes with respectful, older children who understand how to interact gently with small dogs. Because of their size and sensitivity, supervision is always recommended around young children.
