Moose & Hazard
AvailableMoose & Hazard are two senior male dogs, a Bullmastiff and a Shepherd, both large in size with short coats in shades of fawn and blond. They are neutered and their vaccinations are up to date. Moose and Hazard are currently in Marietta, OH. Moose and Hazard would do best as a bonded pair in a home without cats.
About Moose & Hazard
Moose and Hazard have already seen a lot together—they came into the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley as devoted friends, arriving under the care of the Washington County Dog Warden. Both boys lived in the same home and have relied on each other's company and comfort ever since. Senior dogs to the core, Moose is a 9-year-old Bullmastiff with a docked tail and fawn coat, deep brown eyes, and a classic mastiff face. Hazard is a 10-year-old Shepherd, lean and blonde, with strikingly large upright ears and a soulful gaze. Both are neutered and current on their vaccinations. From the start, Moose and Hazard have had their own 'bachelor pad' suite at the shelter, complete with a private patio. Staff say Moose is the cuddler of the pair—he offers bear hugs and will seek out affection. Handicap-wise, Hazard had a recent surgery to remove growths and is reported not to get along with cats. The shelter is committed to keeping them together, listing them as a bonded pair and looking for an adopter who sees the beauty of two old friends finding their retirement home side by side. Updated photos will follow soon, but the staff wanted to make sure their story could reach someone who will appreciate them right now. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
