About Miso
Click apply to start the adoption process. Miss Miso is a truly gorgeous and loving girl whose expressive eyes seem to say, "please love me!" Her affectionate and friendly nature makes her a favorite at the rescue, and she adores meeting new people as well as playing with other dogs her size. With her excitable, energetic personality, Miso would thrive in an active home where daily walks, hikes, or even runs are part of the routine. After enjoying her exercise, she settles nicely and shows just how cuddly she can be. Miso is passionate about toys of all kinds and takes treats ever so gently, always eager to celebrate playtime with joyful bunny hops around the yard. She’s best with other large dogs, loves to play, and while her experience with children hasn’t been tested, she is presumed to do well—with a bit of guidance to help her resist jumping up in excitement. Perfect for a family seeking an enthusiastic companion, Miso would especially love a home with another large dog to play with. She walks fairly well on a leash, knows "sit" and "down," and may surprise you with her ability to climb chain link fences, so a secure yard is ideal. With regular physical activity and mental stimulation, she is sure to be an outstanding addition to the right household. All High Sierra Animal Rescue dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed, tested for heartworm, given preventative medication, and up-to-date on shots. Post-adoption training advice and support are available to help ensure a smooth transition. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
