About Pepper

Your new best friend is just one click away. Pretty Pepper is a 1.5-year-old Lab mix with a big heart, always ready to offer kisses and cuddles. She’s known for her silly, affectionate side and her love for treats and toys, bringing smiles to those around her. Pepper recently came back to the rescue due to changes in her previous home. Since then, she’s shown she can be selective with other dogs and sometimes reactive with strangers, acting a bit protective. The staff is actively helping her build confidence and will offer guidance to her future adopter. She’s a smart girl, quick to learn, and is sure to shine even brighter with a bit of time and effort. This active, 75-pound Lab mix is happiest outdoors and would thrive with someone ready to enjoy adventures by her side. She does best in a home without lots of visitors for now. Pepper is working on her leash skills and already knows commands like "sit" and "down," as well as her name. She’s house-trained and recommended for families with children ages 12 and up. Pepper may be interested in cats and would need further testing before sharing a home with them. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
