About Meatball
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meatball is a friendly, affectionate guy who is more than ready to roll on out of the rescue and into a home of his own. He has a real zest for life and brings a bright, goofy energy everywhere he goes. His favorite things include tennis balls above all else, squeaky toys, tasty snacks, and stretching out for a good lounge session. He genuinely enjoys people and seeks out affection whenever he can. He will do best as the only dog in his home for now, and his future adopters should be prepared to help him with structure and consistency—especially as he can be protective over his treasured tennis balls and other prized items. Interactions with other dogs can feel overwhelming to him at this time and he’ll need patience, time to decompress, and positive training if future introductions are considered. Meatball is a true character with a big heart and lots of personality. He’d thrive with someone who loves playful dogs bursting with charm and is seeking a loving, lively companion to join their semi-active household. His leash manners are pretty good, but he is strong and may pull at times. He responds to "sit" and knows his name, so the groundwork for a great bond is already in place. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
