About Rose
NOTE: Please read our entire write-up before contacting us. If you don't know the age, breed, weight, what vet care we provide our dogs, the adoption fee, or how to apply, you have not read the write-up. Rose Breed: Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix DOB: 14 years old Gender: Female, spayed Weight: ~ 10 pounds Microchipped Adoption Fee: $150 Rose's dad's health declined and he had to give her up. One of our vets called us to see if we could find a place in our program for her. Rose is so sweet- how could we possibly say no? While loved, Rose did have a challenging life as an outside dog. She has what is believed to be frostbite damage to her ears from cold winters in her past. While we wish all dogs could live indoors and experience the warmth and safety that provides, not everyone has the resources or permission to make that happen. Rose will never experience a winter as an outside dog again! From the time she entered our program we could see that Rose was special. She loves people and has found a playmate in one of the cats in her foster home! She is a little overweight, but is starting to drop a bit of weight now. She likes going for little walks around her neighborhood and for field trips and adventures to stores, parks, and the coffee shop!
