Sapphire Breed: Chihuahua mix Gender: Female, spayed DOB: 11-18-2017 Weight: approx. 6 pounds Microchipped Adoption Fee: $300 This little gal loves going for walks, loves her time outdoors and, above all else, loves sitting with her people. She's a fantastic walking partner! She's eager for adventure and will be delighted by area parks and dog-friendly stores! However, she is not delighted by strangers picking her up or grabbing her. She is very clear about this, but will squirm and fight if held by someone she has decided is not her friend (this includes children)- which causes us worry that she might get dropped. She's usually find being met on the ground when she chooses to meet people. We'd love to find an adult home for Sapphire that enjoys walks and spending time outdoors. She's a sweet dog who would likely love being an only dog. She lives with other dogs, but is conflicted about whether to play with them or squawk at them to get away! She does require a watchful eye to make sure she doesn't become a nuisance. While she's not a barker, she can become one if allowed to do so! Good w/ Other Dogs- yes, with respectful dogs that ignore her Good w/ Cats- Possibly Energy Level- Low inside, moderate on walks Children- We are seeking an adult home Grooming Needs- Low to moderate.
