About Walnut

Walnut may be small, but she carries herself with a big, spunky attitude. She landed at the shelter as a stray with an old eye injury—thankfully, it doesn’t bother her much and only occasional eye drops might be needed going forward. Walnut's rescue came just in time, after the shelter marked her as a medical case. She warms up to other dogs, but it takes her a while to get comfortable. An older, laid-back canine companion would suit her best, and multiple meet and greets are essential if you have dogs at home. Despite her tough beginnings, Walnut is incredibly sweet, a bit goofy, and deeply loyal. She loves nothing more than snuggling up on the couch or bed right beside her person. House trained with basic leash skills, she simply wants to be part of the action. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
