About Walnut
Click apply to start the adoption process. Walnut is a spunky little lady who proves that big personalities come in small packages. After ending up at the shelter with an old eye injury, Walnut was at risk, but thanks to a caring rescue, she’s now safe and thriving. Her eye doesn’t require further treatment at the moment, although in the future she may need some eye drops. Walnut can be selective with other dogs and takes time to feel comfortable, so she would do best either as an only dog or in a home with slow, careful introductions and meet and greets. Don't be discouraged: Walnut is a goofy and sweet companion who loves cuddling up on the couch or bed and is always eager to be by your side. She’s house trained and has basic leash manners, making her a wonderful addition to the right home. Did you know? Walnut's birthday makes her a Leo, known for their confidence and affectionate nature—traits she truly embodies. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
