Babe lost the use of her hind legs after developing IVDD last year, but the only thing she’s actually missing is a shred of self-pity. Her days are powered by snacks, affection, and a surprising turn of speed when she’s in her wheelchair—she doesn’t slow down for anyone. She absolutely soaks up attention and wants nothing more than to be where the people are, scooping up treats and cuddles. She connects easily with both dogs and people, always curious, always upbeat. While she needs her bladder expressed several times a day, this routine settles in quickly (and the rescue is ready to guide you through it). Babe seeks a home where someone is around much of the time and, ideally, who already understands special needs dogs—or is ready to learn. She looks for love and inclusion, not sympathy.
