Chit Chat Special Needs has weathered a rough past but still lights up every room she enters. At five years old and weighing around 20 pounds, she's small but incredibly tough. She was found as a stray, paralyzed in her back legs, yet she keeps moving with remarkable spirit. It's suspected she was bred frequently, then abandoned when she lost the use of her back legs. Even so, Chit Chat carries a gentle, joyful personality wherever she goes. IVDD has left her without sensation or pain in her back end, yet she’s unstoppable—getting around with her wheelchair, scooting on her own, or taking in the world from a stroller. She never sits life out. She gets along well with people and other dogs, always eager to be included whether it’s hanging on the sofa or joining a car ride. Chit Chat does need her bladder expressed a few times a day due to her paralysis, but her resilience and loving nature more than make up for the extra care. Her ideal person is someone present, open to learning, and prepared for deep, loyal affection in return. She always sees the good in the world, despite what she’s been through.
