About Chiclet Special Needs
Click apply to start the adoption process. How adorable is little Chiclet?! This brave girl is a true survivor with a spirit as big as her heart. Chiclet was found unable to use her hind legs, bravely dragging herself around the streets before being rescued and brought to safety. Despite a difficult start—including surviving a life-threatening health scare with multiple infections—Chiclet fought her way back with remarkable determination. Her big, expressive eyes truly say, "I stared death in the face and won!" At about 5 years old, Chiclet is a ray of sunshine who wins hearts everywhere she goes. She is sweet with everyone she meets and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Although paralyzed in her hind legs, Chiclet thrives when using her wheelchair and scoots around effortlessly using her front legs. Her zest for life is nothing short of inspiring! Chiclet does have a few special needs: her bladder and bowels need to be expressed several times each day. This care routine becomes second nature and plenty of support will be offered to help you learn, even if you're new to special needs dogs. Chiclet will flourish in a home where someone isn’t away for long hours, preferably with experience caring for dogs with extra needs—or the willingness to learn. In return, Chiclet will fill your life with endless love, cuddles, and radiant smiles. Her cheerful spirit and endless determination turn every day into a celebration. Her journey may have started with challenges, but Chiclet’s future is full of hope and joy. Fun fact: Chiclet is a Capricorn, so she’s especially persistent and loyal! Are you ready to open your heart to this incredible little warrior? Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
