About Kiwi A
Kiwi, known as Kai to his foster family, is a 10-month-old mix with German Shepherd, Border Collie, Collie, and a dash of Supermutt in his DNA. True to his lineage, Kai is whip-smart, eager to learn, and deeply affectionate. He came in shy with his two brothers but has since grown more comfortable, especially around other dogs. Inside the foster home and fenced yard, he's playful, bouncy, and loves being with the resident dogs, looking up to them for cues. Kai is attentive and responsive, picks up new routines quickly, and already walks beautifully on a leash in his familiar yard. Outside of his comfort zone, though, he still gets nervous and needs slow, patient introductions to new places. He gains confidence by watching and following his canine companions, so he really needs a home with another playful, confident dog and a secure fenced yard. At night he sleeps well in the bedroom with the pack and foster family. His foster parents call him extraordinary—he’s the kind of dog who will reward patience and understanding with loyalty and deep companionship. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
