About Minnie Mouse

Start your journey together! Apply now. Minnie Mouse is a vibrant and loving young female mixed breed who is looking for her forever home. At around 11 months old and weighing 24 pounds, Minnie is emerging from a rough start and is eager for guidance and structure. She thrives once she's comfortable and settled into a routine—she’s housebroken when given consistency and time to understand her new surroundings. Minnie is crate trained, although she sometimes needs a little encouragement, and while she may be vocal at first, she quickly quiets down and relaxes. Minnie rides well in the car after a short adjustment and is good on a leash, especially when paired with another confident dog. This high-energy pup delights in her walks and zoomies, though she’s just learning how to play. She doesn't require a fenced yard but does need regular activity, especially walks or runs. Minnie is friendly with other dogs, sometimes playfully stealing their toys, and she adapts well to homes with other pets. She is cat-friendly, curious but not reactive, and terrific with children over eight who can help reinforce her manners as she continues to grow and learn. Her ideal family will teach her from the ground up and show her patience and love. Please note: keeping her already scheduled spay appointment in Newark is required for adoption, and adopters must live within an hour of this location. This could be the start of something paw-some.
