About Minnie Mouse

Minnie Mouse is a playful, high-energy mixed-breed girl about 11 months old. She’s still all puppy in spirit—a bit mischievous, very curious, and learning her way in the world. Minnie enjoys being around other dogs and tends to swipe their toys when she gets the chance, just to chew them right in front of them, but it’s all in good fun. She gets along well with cats; she’s interested but not a chaser. For kids, she’s best with those over 8 who can handle her enthusiasm and help reinforce manners, as she’s working on things like not getting on tables or stealing other pets’ toys. Minnie is housebroken with consistent guidance and settles into her crate after a little vocal protest. Walks are a highlight for her, especially with a well-behaved dog to follow, but playtime still needs some teaching—she’s figuring out the whole concept. She does not require a fenced yard; Minnie is content with walks or running as long as she gets her energy out. Car rides make her nervous at first, but she relaxes quickly. A spay appointment is already scheduled in Newark, and keeping this appointment is required for her adoption—adopters must live within an hour of Newark. Minnie is looking for a family ready to guide her into becoming a great companion and enjoys the process of teaching a smart, eager young dog. Your new best friend is just one click away.
