About Charlie Brown & Poppy
Charlie Brown and Poppy are a closely bonded pair looking for a family that understands how much they mean to each other. Charlie Brown, about 2 years old and around 12 pounds, has all the makings of a devoted companion: total cuddle bug, gentle, and happiest snuggled next to his person. He thrives on play, enjoys the company of other dogs, and caring for Poppy seems to come naturally—even though he has a motherly streak for her despite being a boy. Both of them need to find a home together where they are a true part of the family. Charlie Brown listens well but has an independent side and plenty of energy, so he’ll need a secure fenced yard—no tie-outs allowed. He’s smart, eager to keep learning, and doing well with housebreaking, but continued training is important. As a small possible corgi or Jack Russell mix, he’ll do best with someone ready for an active but cuddly companion. He gets along with dogs and cats, and being neutered, microchipped, and fully vetted, he’s ready to go, as is Poppy. Adopters should be committed to ongoing preventive care. These two will only be adopted out after a face-to-face meeting. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
