Buddy is a sweet boy with a heart of gold, full of love for everyone he meets. This affectionate pup gets along well with other dogs and cats, and although he hasn’t been around children in his foster home, his gentle nature shines through. Buddy’s journey hasn’t been easy, as he was found injured after being abandoned and spent several days on the run before rescue. After receiving hip surgery, he’s made a wonderful recovery and now enjoys playing and getting lots of love from his foster family. It’s essential that Buddy’s new home has a very secure fence to keep him safe, reflecting his past experience and his need for security. Buddy is enjoying life at his foster home, where he has great playmates and lots of affection. He is housebroken and walks well on a leash. He is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, on monthly prevention medicines, and up to date on all vaccinations. His new family will need to provide him with continued proper veterinary care, including heartworm and flea prevention. Face-to-face meetings are required to adopt, and Buddy is not available as a gift unless the recipient meets him first. Click apply to start the adoption process.
