About Penny Lane
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Meet Penny Lane, a true lovebug who longs to snuggle right up next to you! At around 3 years old and weighing about 12 pounds, Penny Lane may be a dachshund or terrier mix with an adorable, petite build and plenty of affection to share. She loves playing with other dogs and would especially enjoy a furry sibling or being adopted with her friend Foxy. Penny Lane has been through a lot—she spent two months as a stray and is still learning the comforts of security and family. Because of her past, she may try to eat other pets' food, but she quickly bonds with people who show her patience and consistency. A secure, fenced yard is essential, and only specific homes that can offer this will be considered for her adoption. Penny Lane listens well, is crate and paper trained, and will do anything for a treat, especially sitting up pretty! She’s working on being fully housebroken and responds best to loving routines. Do note that she is very fearful of fireworks and would do best in a steady, predictable environment. She is already spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations—including flea and heartworm prevention. Penny Lane is ready to find a forever family where she can truly be a cherished member and enjoy the safety and love she deserves. Gracie’s Heart of Gold, Marion, IN Think you are the one?
