About Bailey
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Bailey is a truly special Coonhound mix, located in Burney, CA, who needs a loving new family. At five years old, she is a courtesy listing and not directly part of the GGBR program, but her owner is hoping to find her the safe, caring home she deserves. Bailey is spayed and housebroken, and her affectionate nature shines through once she has had a chance to warm up to new people. Because of a difficult past, she may seem a bit shy at first, but with patience and gentleness, she quickly becomes loving and devoted. While Bailey does need some basic manners work—especially avoiding those tempting countertops—she is not aggressive. She does tend to be timid around other dogs due to her past, but with time and reassurance, she can become quite friendly. Bailey’s history includes a serious accident where she suffered a broken neck after jumping from a moving vehicle, so she cannot be led using a collar. For her safety, a harness must always be used when walking her. If you’re ready to welcome an incredibly sweet and resilient companion into your home, Bailey is waiting to meet you and start her next chapter. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
