Meet Pomegranate! This 50-pound sweetheart is silly, affectionate, and full of fun. She has lived with both dogs and cats and currently does great with her two canine foster siblings (ages 13 and 6) and three resident cats. She can get a little playful and chase-y with the cats, but it’s all in good fun—she redirects easily and has shown no aggression. Pomegranate is potty trained, comes when called, and is learning "sit." She’s very food- and treat-motivated, which makes training a breeze. She has shown mild food guarding on occasion, mostly when things get crowded, but she does beautifully when fed separately. This girl loves a good walk, but she really loves snuggles. Pomegranate is a full-on velcro dog—she’ll follow you everywhere just to be close. She doesn’t jump, though she may stand up for a gentle "hug," so a home without very small children would probably be best. She adores toys, enjoys being part of the action, and above all else, she loves loving and being loved.
