Meet Mona! Mona is a 6-year-old sweetheart who’s the perfect blend of calm and cuddly. This medium-energy girl is house trained, crate trained (with zero anxiety!), and totally non-destructive when left alone. Mona is quiet—no barking here—and a gentle greeter who takes treats softly and welcomes strangers with friendly curiosity. She rides like a champ in the car and is an absolute dream on outings. On her recent Dog for the Day adventure, she explored the Beltline, soaked up butt scratches from new friends, calmly got a pedicure, and celebrated with a pup cup—she was a total rockstar! Once she warms up, Mona’s silly, affectionate side shines. She’ll bury her head into you and lean in close for love, content to follow you around or sit quietly at your feet. Mona does well with older children, and while she has been friendly with dogs, she’ll need slower introductions in a permanent home since she can become protective of her people around other pups. Mona is ready to be someone’s loyal sidekick—loving, mellow, and oh-so-easy to adore.
