Meet Mara. She is a 2 year old 55 pound collie mix originally from Mexico. She spent a few months in British Columbia and now is looking for her forever home in the United States. She is a sweet, quiet girl who loves to play with some of the gentler dogs. She is not a fan of all of this rain but I'm getting her used to being outside in it anyway. She is learning how to use a dog door but she is more motivated to use it to come in rather than go out at this point. With this weather she loves to hang out in the house, a little bit of playing, a little bit of laying around is fine with her. I think a perfect home for her would be one in which there are other gentle dogs to bounce off of and humans that are good gentle leaders that can allow her the space to get to know you.
