Hi! My name is Laika and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by a good Samaritan on 7/12/25. I am very smart, affectionate, and motivated to learn! I pick up on new skills quickly and may even be a good candidate for agility training. Because of my history as a stray, I am fearful of other dogs and sometimes strangers, and would be most successful if I have space to build my confidence with minimal stressors - I am not yet ready for the dog park or a home with lots of visitors. I may be shy at first, but once I trust you, I will be incredibly loving and want to be by your side. Because of my high intelligence and work drive, I would do best with a family who is interested in consistent and energetic training. If you`re looking for a loyal dog with lots of love to give, Laika would be a great fit!
