About Jenny
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Jenny! This special girl has an incredible spirit and a heartwarming story. Jenny is a 2-3-year-old foxhound, whippet, pointer, and jack Russell terrier mix who has faced more than her share of challenges at a young age. After being hit by a car within her first year, Jenny underwent two hip surgeries to help restore her mobility—one was a femoral head osteotomy, and the second removed painful growths and scar tissue. Thanks to dedicated care, she's made an inspiring recovery, though she will always have some mobility challenges and benefits from joint supplements. Jenny may eventually need additional support, like a wheelchair cart, especially as she ages. Despite these obstacles, Jenny is joyful and full of life. She’s always eager to spot bunnies and squirrels during her walks and loves playtime, especially on grassy surfaces where she can move most comfortably. While she gets along with all her foster dog siblings, her ideal playmates are gentle, as roughhousing can be overwhelming. Jenny is also wonderful with cats and has impressed everyone with her cheerful demeanor around children. She’s both crate trained and housetrained, though she does need urgent access to the outdoors when the need arises. Jenny walks nicely on a leash and enjoys neighborhood adventures. After over a year in foster care, she’s ready to find her forever home, where she can continue to thrive with a loving family willing to provide any extra support she may need. Jenny will reward her adopters with affection, loyalty, and endless smiles. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
