Let’s get this wonderful dog a home for the holidays! Princess, a six-year-old pit bull, was found abandoned by her owner. She was dumped while in the process of giving birth and needed an emergency c-section. Her pups all survived and found forever homes, but Princess is still waiting for hers. She loves attention from people and is protective and loyal. She enjoys playing with tennis balls and going for walks with our volunteers. Princess is a big girl, weighing in at 117 pounds and bears a slight resemblance to a baby hippo! She loves food and eats a lot, so her potential owner will have to factor that into their weekly food budget. Princess is a powerful, but gentle dog, and she’d do best in a home with older kids. She is not a fan of other animals, so Princess needs to be the only pet. She would love to have a home of her own, so please share and let’s get this girl her forever home for Christmas!
