About Foxy Brown

Foxy Brown is a six-year-old pit bull terrier mix in Blaine, MN. When she first arrived at the rescue, she was emaciated, but she’s bounced back and is thriving. Foxy has thick, powerful energy and bursts of athleticism, but she’s not a marathon runner—she’ll slow down for a nap after some fun. She loves outdoor adventures, whether it's hiking, walks, biking, or chasing after her yellow squeaky ball. On walks, Foxy is easy to handle using her Keeper Collar and communicates her needs clearly. She takes treats with a soft mouth and enjoys learning. Socially, Foxy gets excited meeting new people and is still building her manners, especially her habit of jumping up when eager or overstimulated. She can be impulsive around other dogs and continues to work on her social skills. Because of this, she needs a home where she'll be the only dog and without young children. Foxy’s looking for someone who appreciates a high-energy companion who’s most content as the center of attention. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
