While she has overcome challenges, she is now house trained and spayed. Located in Minneapolis, MN, she is eager to build a bond and find a loving family to call her own.

Meet Lovey! Lovey is a delightful young tripod who has overcome a tough start in life. Rescued from Texas after suffering a broken leg, she has triumphed over adversity and is thriving. Fast and playful, she loves to enjoy life with happy zoomies and is eagerly discovering the joys of toys, bones, and snuggles. This affectionate girl is housebroken, crate trained, and comes with great manners in the car. She is intelligent and motivated by treats, making her training a joyful adventure. While she can be shy and cautious initially, she yearns for connection and will become a devoted shadow to those she trusts. Lovey does not do well with cats due to her high prey drive and may prefer being the only dog in the home. However, with proper slow introductions, a calm, compatible dog could work. While she has not been around children yet, a home without kids is recommended while she continues to gain confidence. Now she’s ready for her forever home.
