About Kootenay

Meet Kootenay, or Koot for short! This affectionate boy is all about love and companionship. He’s a big guy with a big heart, eager to snuggle on the couch and share a bed. Koot loves to give kisses and is looking for a forever home where he can truly belong. Koot thrives around other dogs and would do best with a furry friend by his side. While he's still unsure about cats, he'd prefer a home without them. His playful nature shines when he's running around, chasing, and wrestling with his dog pals. He also has a newfound love for water, happily splashing in a doggy pool! Fully house trained, Koot is good with respectful older kids and behaves well when left alone. He is learning to get in and out of the car and rides well once he’s settled. Despite some past trauma, he prefers not to be left in a kennel. He enjoys toys, bones, and treats, but more than anything, he wants to meet you! Adoption fee includes a full veterinary exam, alterations, vaccinations, and preventative care. Ready to fall in love?
