About Frodo
Frodo is a young and small Shiba Inu and husky mix, about six months old, with a soft cream coat. He’s the shy one in his bunch, but don’t overlook him—he’s got some quiet bravery and is usually the first among his siblings to try new things. Frodo’s world up to now has mostly been other dogs and his littermates, so people can make him nervous, but he’s beginning to warm up as he adjusts to more human interaction. He’s getting the hang of leash walks and is picking up on potty pad training, though he’s not yet house trained. Frodo would do best with someone who values patience and gentle encouragement, offering him a calm space to build trust at his own pace. He gets along well with other dogs and could benefit from a confident canine buddy, but will need an adopter who understands the time it can take for shy dogs to blossom. What are you waiting for? Questions about Frodo
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Frodo, as a Shiba Inu and husky mix, tends to do well in homes where he has space to play but also a calm corner to relax, especially given his small size and reserve. Indoor environments with a quiet atmosphere will help him adjust.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
While Frodo is a small mixed-breed dog, he’ll still benefit from daily walks and a safe, enclosed yard to explore, although he doesn’t need a large yard. Regular leash walks and time outside will help build his confidence.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Shiba Inu and husky mixes can be good with children, but Frodo’s shyness means he’d do best in a patient household where kids are gentle and respectful of his boundaries.
