About Brin Joy
Brin Joy is an 8-year-old Dachshund who ended up in rescue through no fault of her own. She’s slow to trust new people, but when she does, her affectionate side comes out fast. Brin Joy will happily burrow under a blanket to nap by your side or curl up next to one of her foster siblings. She gets along well with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and especially loves chasing and playing in the yard, always grabbing a squeaky toy if she spots one. Brin Joy is especially comforted by having another dog in the house, particularly when left alone, so her next home should have a resident canine companion. She’s not a fan of using a dog door, but she’s good about signaling when she needs to go outside. One of her cutest features is her left ear, which stands straight up. Brin Joy is looking for a loving home within Central or South Texas. Click apply to start the adoption process.
