About Rascal Flatts

Meet Rascal Flatts, a charming Dachshund who is about 3 years old and weighs around 19 pounds. He joined us from a hoarding situation, part of a group fondly named 'The Country Music Stars.' Despite his shy nature, he has a sweetness that is truly heartwarming. Rascal is still warming up to strangers but is becoming more trusting of his foster mom, often following her around as he grows comfortable. His calm demeanor sets him apart, and he's well-behaved on a leash. So far, he's shown he knows how to hold it together indoors and hasn't had any potty accidents. Rascal seems to enjoy the company of other dogs, displaying friendly interest in them. While he's a bit nervous during new situations, he has already handled car rides well and sleeps soundly in his crate. Rascal has a gentle spirit, overcoming a rough start in life that included flea infestations and some health issues, now successfully treated. He is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and will make a complete recovery. Imagine the joy Rascal will bring as he continues to discover his own personality! Ready to fall in love?
