Jazz is a 4-year-old Airedale/Irish Terrier mix who’s been through some tough changes lately. After her elderly owner went into hospice, Jazz landed at CCPAL Rescue with her canine housemates. She weighs around 70 pounds, with a classic scruffy terrier coat that doesn’t shed much. These days she’s healthy and thriving, thanks to attentive care and nutrition that helped her bounce back from some earlier hair loss. Jazz is solidly house trained—she keeps her kennel clean and knows basic commands like ‘sit.’ Walking on a leash is a work in progress; she pulls, but she’s eager and enjoys getting out. She’s picky about her dog friends but bonds closely with people, especially men, and hasn’t met a human she doesn’t like.
